Zoe and Jamie’s engagement shoot

I knew Zoe and Jamie would be a great couple to work with from the moment I sent them a list of locations, Zoe replied with Henrhyd falls and that they wanted to get in the water! I loved their willingness to get stuck in and just go for it.
An added bonus was that they brought their gorgeous 8 month old puppy - Poppy, getting her involved in the celebrations which is always fine by me.

The trio absolutely breezed the descent to the falls (if you haven’t been, it’s pretty steep) while I’m left behind trying not to fall on my ass with my camera gear - it wasn’t easy! We got there, and there were a few more people around, but we quickly got started, and after climbing over and under a few fallen trees we were in. The water was pretty cold - as you’d expect, but we were happy enough in our own little bubble and after a while I forgot that we weren’t the only ones there (I had my back to the crowd). Once we had decided we had enough images, it was time to get out, as I turned around (again, trying not to fall in with my gear) there were significantly more people than when we started - who I’m sure, didn’t trek to come and see us taking pics in the water (sorry guys) but I absolutely love the outcome and cannot wait to photograph their special day next year!
